Sadly, the ‘Wednesday’ actress was compelled to pose some important concerns after the tragedy, including why kids are the targets of such widespread gun violence and why people are not let to enjoy their festivals in peace.

“After a weekend of profound sadness, my heart is heavy,” Catherine said in a heartbreaking Instagram post, highlighting the growing levels of poison in society. Why are Jews in Australia unable to enjoy their vacation on an Australian beach without fear of massacre? Why are young pupils unable to learn in a classroom without being shot to death? Why is it necessary to murder our friends in their homes? Toxic levels of hate, violence, and violent discourse have become ingrained. (sic).”

Catherine made the point that while it’s OK to sometimes disagree with one another on a variety of topics, using violence to resolve the conflict is unacceptable.

“Everywhere. Everywhere. There are more than 8 billion of us on Earth. We cannot expect to like everyone or be liked by everyone. We cannot expect everyone to agree with us or for us to agree with everyone. However, why must one be murdered for it? On this lovely globe, there is space for all of us. Hell is filling up quickly,” she said.

Two shooters carried out a mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia on December 14. The incident happened at “Chanukah by the Sea,” a Hanukkah celebration that drew around 1,000 attendees.

The event, which the police have classified as a terrorist assault, resulted in at least 15 fatalities and several injuries.
