Cara Buono: shares BTS moments with Finn Wolfhard and Sadie Sink from “Stranger Things 5”

 Cara Buono: who portrays the well-known character Karen Wheeler in “Stranger Things,” provided a number of behind-the-scenes glimpses from the fifth season of the hit show.

Following her character’s intense run-in with a Demogorgon while attempting to prevent her daughter Holly from being dragged into the Upside Down, Buono posted a number of behind-the-scenes images from the hospital scenario on Instagram.

Buono posed alongside Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Finn Wolfhard, producer Shawn Levy, and creators Matt and Ross Duffer in the photos.

“I flirted with the problem,” Buono wrote in the caption. She made it through it. In this town, we don’t connect over breakfast. Some BTS from times I spent at the hospital with loved ones.

Horror, science fiction, mystery, fantasy, and coming-of-age drama are all incorporated into Stranger Things.

The show, which is set in the 1980s, focuses on the people who live in the made-up small town of Hawkins, Indiana, after a young girl named Eleven, who possesses psychokinetic abilities, opens a portal between Earth and the Upside Down, a hostile alternate dimension, at a nearby human experimentation facility.

Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Linda Hamilton are among the cast members.

With allusions to 1980s popular culture, the series combines otherworldly terror, investigative drama, and youthful wonder. Conspiracy theories about covert government initiatives and tests conducted during the Cold War served as additional sources of inspiration for the program.

In addition, Buono has starred in She Came from the Woods, Monsters and Men, Let Me In, A Good Marriage, Paper Towns, and The Hulk.
