Expanded Exhibition Reflects Industry Momentum

The 2026 edition will span 30,000 square metres and host more than 800 exhibiting companies. This marks a notable rise from the 2025 show, underscoring growing interest in Asia’s health and nutrition market. Industry observers say the expansion mirrors increasing demand for dietary supplements, functional ingredients and science-backed wellness products across the region.

The event will once again take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, a venue widely recognised for hosting major international trade exhibitions.

New Country Pavilions Strengthen Global Presence

Two additional country pavilions — Australia and New Zealand — will debut at the 2026 event. Their inclusion is expected to broaden the international footprint of the exhibition and highlight product development and ingredient innovation emerging from both markets.

Companies from these countries are set to present solutions spanning natural ingredients, functional formulations and finished nutraceutical products. Organisers say the move reflects stronger cross-border collaboration within the health and wellness sector.

Interactive Features Aim to Enhance Industry Insights

Beyond increased floor space, the event will introduce several new experiential programmes designed to provide practical knowledge and hands-on engagement.

One such feature, the Sensory Box, will allow visitors to explore ingredients through smell, taste and touch in a guided workshop format. The initiative is designed to help product developers better understand how sensory elements influence consumer experience.

Another programme titled From Lab to Launch will focus on the full product development journey. Experts will outline processes beginning with research and raw materials, moving through formulation and clinical evaluation, and concluding with commercial launch strategies. The sessions are intended to support research and development professionals navigating complex regulatory and scientific pathways.

A Four-Factor Solution Workshop, delivered in partnership with the Healthy Marketing Team, will offer insights into branding, innovation and market positioning. The programme aims to help businesses better align products with target audiences and avoid common commercial pitfalls.

In addition, the Thailand Nutraceuticals Award Powered by Vitafoods Asia will recognise innovation and quality within Thailand’s finished product segment. A dedicated Pet Nutraceuticals Showcase will also highlight the expanding market for supplements designed for companion animals.

Theme Focuses on Health Across Generations

The central theme for 2026, “Nutraceuticals Trends Across Generations,” will explore how nutrition science can address health needs at every life stage. Discussions will examine topics such as gut and microbiome balance, cognitive wellbeing, active ageing, longevity and the role of personalised nutrition technologies.

Rose Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director for ASEAN at Informa Markets, said the expanded event reflects a broader industry shift toward science-driven and customised health solutions. She noted that the goal is not only to support longer life expectancy but also to improve quality of life across different age groups.

Industry Leaders Highlight Networking Value

Exhibitors view the exhibition as a gateway to Southeast Asian markets. Michael Wu, General Manager of Nature’s Care Manufacture Pty. Ltd. in Australia, described the event as an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and better understand evolving consumer preferences in health and wellness.

Other participants emphasised the importance of face-to-face engagement. Pierre-Luc Morlet of Pharm Active Biotech Products said the event offers direct access to partners, customers and brand owners under one roof. Similarly, Alex Du of Sirio Pharma noted that gathering professionals from across Asia fosters collaboration and idea exchange.

A Key Platform for the Asian Nutraceutical Sector

Over the years, Vitafoods Asia has developed into a major platform for professionals in dietary supplements, functional food and ingredient manufacturing. By combining exhibition space with educational sessions and networking opportunities, the event continues to support business growth and innovation within the region.

With increased international participation and a broadened programme, the 2026 edition is expected to further strengthen Asia’s role in the global nutraceutical landscape.
