V.L. : GWSSB Awards Infraprojects a Significant INR 42.12 Crore Water Infrastructure Contract

V.L. : The Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board (GWSSB) has issued a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a major project: the Augmentation of Hadaf Regional Water Supply Scheme in Limkheda and Singvad Talukas of Dahod District, Gujarat. V.L.Infraprojects Limited (NSE Code: VLINFRA), which specializes in carrying out water supply and sewerage infrastructure projects, has announced receiving the LOI.

The project, priced at ₹42.12 crore (₹42,121,573.70), is another significant milestone in the company’s growth inside its home state and is 5.99% more expensive than anticipated. A Joint Venture (JV) comprising H.M. Electro Mech (20%) and V.L. Infra Projects (Lead Partner, 80%) was awarded the contract. The contract stipulates that capital works must be completed within 18 months, and then operations and maintenance (O&M) must be performed for 10 years, starting on the day the LOI was issued.

The work’s scope comprises

DI/PVC pipes for rising and gravity mains are provided, supplied, lowered, laid, and joined.

* Water treatment plant design and construction (WTP)

* Building RCC Elevated Service Reservoirs (ESRs), staff quarters, pump houses, underground sumps, and compound walls

* Pumping equipment installation and electrical projects

* Providing infrastructure and communication at the village level

* Ten years of operation and upkeep of the whole water supply system

The project, which is being carried out under the GWSSB’s capital works procurement, is to improve the infrastructure for drinking water in many communities as part of the Hadaf Regional Water Supply Scheme. V.L. Infraprojects’ accountability for the full execution of the construction contract and all contractual obligations is further reinforced by the award. Its standing as a reliable implementation partner for government-led water infrastructure projects is strengthened by the new decree.

Mr. Rajagopal Reddy Annam Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of V.L.Infraprojects Limited, commented on this project’s allocation.

“The GWSSB’s award of this project is a testament to our solid execution skills and extensive experience in water infrastructure projects. Our emphasis on sustainable infrastructure development is well-aligned with the mix of EPC scope and long-term O&M responsibilities, which improves income visibility.”
