Mini Cooper Convertible Bookings: The first batch of Mini Cooper Convertibles sold out the day after launch; reservations are now being accepted for the next delivery phase. Details are available here

Mini Cooper Convertible Bookings:  On Friday, December 12, Mini India unveiled the Cooper S Convertible, which retailed for Rs 58.50 lakh ex-showroom. The first batch of the new Cooper S Convertible was fully reserved within a day of its nationwide introduction, despite costing Rs 14.80 lakh more than the normal Cooper S. This indicates that there is strong consumer demand for the vehicle due to its fashionable drop-top style and go-kart-like performance.

Next-Phase Delivery Information for the Mini Cooper S Convertible

Mini has officially opened its order books for the next round of delivery, which is expected to start early next year, after the initial batch was completely sold. Authorized dealers around India are where potential consumers may make reservations for your Mini. Imported as a fully built-up unit (CBU), the Mini Cooper S Convertible is a two-door soft-top convertible hatchback. “This instant embrace of the Mini lifestyle has been extraordinary, but we expected excitement.” Mini owners forge their own route from the top down; they don’t follow trends. Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO of BMW Group India, said, “We are excited to see this iconic Mini adding a burst of energy to streets across India.”

Engine and Features of the Mini Cooper S Convertible

The exterior of the new Mini Cooper S Convertible includes circular LED headlamps (with DRL rings), an electrically operated fabric roof, and standard 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior features a high-resolution OLED display, a Harman Kardon sound system, a driver’s seat with massage capabilities, an in-car digital assistant, and MINI Digital Key Plus technology. The hatchback’s 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine produces 201 horsepower and 300 Nm, and it is mated to a 7-speed DCT transmission. The hatchback can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 240 km/h with this power and torque output.
