Gold Rate Today: On Thursday, December 18, the price of yellow metal in India increased slightly, rising by Rs 1 per gram for all purity levels. A gram of 24-karat gold costs Rs 13,452, whilst a gram of 22-karat gold costs Rs 12,331. The price of 18-karat gold increased little as well, to Rs 10,089 per gram.
24-karat gold was quoted at Rs 134,520 for 10 grams and Rs 1,345,200 for 100 grams in bulk amounts, indicating rises of Rs 10 and Rs 100, respectively. In the meanwhile, silver now costs Rs 211 per gram and Rs 211,000 per kilogram in India.

The price of 8 grams of gold has increased by Rs 264 to Rs 1,07,872 from Rs 1,07,608 before. Ten grams now cost Rs 1,34,840 instead of Rs 1,34,510, an increase of Rs 330. 100 grams of 24-carat gold are now selling for Rs 13,48,400, up Rs 3,300 from Rs 13,45,100 yesterday.
The cost of 22 carat gold in India The price of 22-carat gold in India is now Rs 12,360 per gram, up Rs 30 from Rs 12,330 yesterday. Eight grams now cost Rs 98,880 instead of Rs 98,640, a 240 rupee rise. Gold used to cost Rs 123,300 for 10 grams, but today it costs Rs 123,600. In the meanwhile, 100 grams of 22-carat gold are now selling for Rs 12,36,000, up Rs 3,000 from Rs 12,33,000 yesterday.
The price of 18-karat gold in India The price of 18-carat gold in India is Rs 10,113 per gramme as of today, December 18, which is Rs 25 more than it was yesterday at Rs 10,088. Eight grams now cost Rs 80,904 instead of Rs 80,704, a 200 rupee increase. The current price of 10 grams of gold is Rs 101,130, up Rs 250 from the previous price of Rs 100,880. 100 grams of 18-carat gold are now selling for Rs 10,11,300, up Rs 2,500 from Rs 10,08,800 yesterday.
