The Bihta police took charge of the corpse and started an inquiry as soon as they arrived at the site. The dead has been identified as Jitendra Kumar, also known as Makho, a Narayanpur native and the son of Chandeshwar Rai.

Disappearance: Jitendra left his house on Tuesday night, saying he was going to see friends, according to the family.
