Nalanda: On the anniversary of his mother’s passing, CM Nitish honors her with flowers

Nalanda: On Thursday, the anniversary of his mother Parameshwari Devi’s passing, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid a visit to his ancestral hamlet, Kalyan Bigha, located in the Harnaut block of the Nalanda district.

He honored her statue at the Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh Memorial Garden with flowers.

At the statues of his late father, Ramlakhan Singh, and his late wife, Manju Sinha, the Chief Minister also paid his respects by presenting floral tributes.

His son Nishant Kumar, older brother Satish Kumar, and other close relatives were there and joined him in paying respects on the momentous occasion.

Nishant Kumar was seen mingling with the residents.

In addition to senior officials, social workers, political representatives, and well-wishers, the event was attended by a number of notable leaders and dignitaries, including Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar, MP Kaushlendra Kumar, MLAs Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Ruhel Ranjan, and Shubhanand Mukesh, MLCs Sanjay Kumar Singh alias Gandhi Ji and Lalan Sarraf, Vice Chairman of the Bihar State Disaster Management Authority Dr. Uday Kant, former MLA Sunil Kumar, JD(U) National General Secretary Manish Kumar Verma, and former MLA Sunil Kumar.

The Chief Minister also prayed for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of Bihar at the famous Bhagwati Temple (Devi Sthan) in Kalyan Bigha.

The people of Kalyan Bigha and the neighboring regions were happy and proud of him.

Nitish Kumar spoke with residents, asked how they were doing, and listened to their worries.

He gave district administration officers the required directives to address local problems.

At the location were the Superintendent of Police and the Nalanda District Magistrate.

The Chief Minister stayed in the area for a while, taking in the serene and unspoiled surroundings.

Every year on the anniversary of his mother’s passing, Chief Minister Nitish pays a visit to Kalyan Bigha, demonstrating his profound regard and emotional ties to his heritage.
