Muzaffarpur: Family Disagrees With Funeral Ceremonies, Claims Sanjeevani Hospital’s Care Was Inadequate
Muzaffarpur: After a patient died on Saturday morning at Sanjeevani Hospital on Juran Chhapra Road No. 3, a chaotic scene developed. An enormous commotion was made by enraged family members who accused the hospital personnel and physicians of serious medical malpractice. Until those responsible are held accountable, the family has refused to carry out the last rites.

The Timeline and Incident
Bhola Kumar, a resident of Jaitpur Repura, Rampur Vishwanath, has been identified as the dead.
Admission: Bhola had a fever, vomiting, and diarrhea on Friday as a result of being exposed to the cold, according to the deceased’s uncle, Nanki Paswan. On Friday night, the family took him to Sanjeevani Hospital after receiving preliminary care and guidance from a villager.
Alleged Negligence: Bhola had two or three injections, medicine, and an examination from a doctor. The patient was allegedly abandoned on the hospital’s porch after this first intervention, according to the family.
Lack of Care: According to Nanki Paswan, no staff member or doctor visited the patient throughout the night or gave further care. The patient was not sent to another institution in spite of their worsening health.
Findings of Death and Staff Response
Early on Saturday morning, the scene became more heated.
The Finding: Nanki Paswan contacted a medical staff member right away after seeing that Bhola was not breathing.
Staff Behavior: The worker hurried over, used a stethoscope to inspect Bhola, and pronounced him dead. The employee allegedly left the scene after being questioned by the family.
Silence: No hospital employees were accessible to provide the bereaved family information or explanations after the occurrence.
The Family’s Declaration and Requests
Given that Bhola was the only provider, the family is inconsolable.
Medical History: According to the uncle, Bhola had no past medical conditions and had only been unwell as a result of being exposed to cold. He bemoaned the fact that, despite having paid for the care, Bhola’s life was lost due to inadequate medical care.
Economic Impact: “Bhola was essential to my family. Who is going to take care of the family and support them now? Nanki Paswan was questioned.
Demands: The family is still determined that the hospital be held accountable for its negligence by the District Administration. They have said that unless authorities intervene, the cremation and last rituals would not be carried out.
