Government departments and offices: Since the New Year is a limited holiday, the majority of government agencies are anticipated to stay open.
Colleges and schools: Government-run colleges and schools are likewise probably going to stay open. However, because of the growing cold, the government has extended winter vacations in several locations.
Harjot Singh Bains, Punjab’s minister of education, said that all public, private, and recognized institutions will be closed till January 7. Due to the growing fog and cold, this was done while taking children’s health into account.
