Publication of Provisional Voter List

Election authorities have made the provisional voter list publicly accessible to ensure transparency and accuracy in the electoral process. Voters are encouraged to carefully check their names, addresses, and other personal details mentioned in the list. This step is considered crucial to avoid any last-minute issues during the voting phase of the Panchayat elections.

Timeline for Objections and Claims

The window for submitting objections and claims related to the provisional voter list will remain open from December 24 to December 30. During this period, eligible voters can apply for corrections, inclusion of missing names, or deletion of incorrect entries. Applications can be submitted at the concerned tehsil offices or designated election centers following prescribed procedures.

Final Voter List Announcement

After reviewing and resolving all objections and claims received during the specified period, the final voter list will be published on January 6. This final list will serve as the official voter database for the three-tier Panchayat elections in Ghaziabad district.

Special Re-Verification Drive for First-Time Adult Voters

Alongside the objection and claim process, election officials have initiated a special re-verification drive. Notably, these individuals were eligible to be listed as voters earlier but were absent from the 2021 voter list.

Review of Past Enrollment Gaps

Authorities will closely examine whether procedural lapses or documentation issues led to the exclusion of these eligible voters in previous electoral rolls. The aim of this review is to strengthen the integrity of the voter registration process and ensure that no eligible citizen is deprived of their voting rights.
