Indian Railways: Check the updated deadlines for Indian Railways’ emergency quota application, which goes into effect on December 22
Indian Railways: The railway administration has updated the application deadlines for the reservation quota in addition to making adjustments to the scheduling of train reservation charts.
Applications for the reservation quota must be sent to the Commercial Department by 9:00 am on the same day for trains leaving between 10:00 pm and 12:00 midnight.
Applications must be made by 12:00 pm (noon) on the day before for trains leaving between 12:00 midnight and 10:00 am.
Applications must be received by 3:00 PM on the day before for trains that operate from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Execution and Chart Development
On December 22, the new system will go into force. Train reservation charts will be created using this method at least ten hours beforehand. The Railway Board has really changed when the first reservation chart for trains on the Indian Railways network was prepared.
Particular Chart Timings
The first reservation chart will be created at 8:00 p.m. the night before on a priority basis for trains leaving between 5:00 am and 2:00 pm. Trains leaving before 5:00 am and those leaving between 2:00 pm and 12:00 am will have their initial reservation chart made at least ten hours in advance, on a priority basis.
Official Orders
The Board has sent the required directions to the Managing Director of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) and all Principal Chief Commercial Managers (PCCMs) of Indian Railways in order to adopt this new system.
