Gorakhpur tragedy: Three people are killed and four critically injured when a car carrying Ujjain-bound devotees crashes near Kannad Ghat
Gorakhpur tragedy: A vehicle transporting Ujjain pilgrims collided late on Wednesday night near the Kannad Ghat in Chalisgaon taluka, killing three young men and badly injuring four more.

The driver lost control of the car while making a hairpin curve in the ghat portion when the seven pals were traveling for holy darshan.
The vehicle smashed into big boulders at the side of the road after veering off it. The front part of the car was totally crushed in the crash, locking the passengers within and causing shock and terror in the surrounding neighborhood.
Residents of Shevgaon in the Ahilyanagar district, Tukaram Rambhau Ambhore (27), Shekhar Ramesh Durpate (31), and Ghanshyam Ramhari Pisote (30) were identified as the dead. In the collision, four more people suffered significant injuries: Tushar Ramesh Ghuge (26), Dnyaneshwar Kanta Mode (24), Akshay Shivaji Gire (25), and Yogesh Tukaram Sonawane (28).
They are presently receiving treatment after being taken right away to a local hospital. Soon after the accident, police arrived on the scene, performed a panchnama, and transferred the remains for post-mortem investigation. To determine the precise order of events, further research is being done.
Another deadly traffic accident from the Nashik area claimed the life of a night shift worker when a speeding cargo truck collided with a motorbike from behind close to Dubere Bridge on the Sinnar bypass. The victims were on their way home when the tragedy happened on Thursday at approximately 8 a.m. The crash instantly killed the rider, Ramdas Ramkrishna Pote (52), and seriously injured his buddy, Prakash Sabale (55). Following the incident, the truck driver lost control and the vehicle flipped on the side of the road, causing traffic congestion and police intervention.
