Ghaziabad News: Despite the “No-Tripping” designation, residents of Trans-Hindon experience daily power outages
Ghaziabad News: Even though the city has been classified as a “no-tripping zone” to ensure a 24-hour electrical supply, residents of the Trans-Hindon region nonetheless have to deal with everyday problems because of frequent power outages and tripping. Even though the Electricity Corporation has received concerns, a long-term solution is still unattainable.
Power Supply Status
Residents are experiencing daily power outages that last three to four hours, despite the arrival of winter, which usually solves the overloading issue. Significant interruptions were reported on Wednesday at a number of Trans-Hindon locations.
Effect on Particular Communities Bhopura and Defence Colony: Early on Wednesday morning, power outages started. Residents were unable to fill their tanks and store water since they could not run water motors as a result of these disruptions.
Indraprastha Colony: Between 6:00 and 9:00 in the morning, residents often experienced tripping hazards.
Brij Vihar: Power outages were also recorded in this region.
Grievances of Residents
Locals claim they have to deal with these problems on a regular basis. Officials usually blame technical issues for the disruptions when complaints are filed.
Ashok Yadav, a local resident, emphasized the risk caused by these variations, saying that frequent tripping raises concerns about electrical appliance damage.
Official Reaction
The problem is being rectified, according to Akhilesh Singh, Superintending Engineer of the Electricity Urban Distribution Division-II. He acknowledged that the cuts in certain places were caused by routine maintenance and gave his word that the required steps are being taken to address the issue.
