CM Yogi : at the opening of an EV plant: “UP is now a state that turns limitless potential into results.”

CM Yogi: Along with Rajnath Singh, a member of parliament from Lucknow and the defense minister, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath officially opened Ashok Leyland’s new electric car production facility on Friday. The dignitaries planted Rudraksha and vermilion seedlings on the property after inspecting it.

The Chief Minister praised the Hinduja family for putting their faith in the Uttar Pradesh government, congratulated them on their investment, and said the project was very important for the state.

Considering the changes that have occurred since 2017
“Lawlessness in Uttar Pradesh was widely known, and investors were steadily withdrawing,” CM Yogi recalled the state of affairs before to 2017. The administration reiterated that Uttar Pradesh is a place of boundless potential after taking power in 2017. Even though some tried to damage the state’s reputation for political reasons, Uttar Pradesh has now become known for turning its enormous potential into real results.

Adding that the inauguration itself demonstrated the increased confidence among the state’s sectors, he said, “The transformation witnessed over the past eight-and-a-half years stands as clear evidence of this change.”

Plant capability and the creation of jobs
According to the Chief Minister, the plant’s present yearly production capacity of 2,500 units would be gradually increased to 5,000 units. He said, “The project reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to environmental protection and industrial growth, as well as the shared resolve to prepare for global challenges like environmental disruptions and climate change.” Thousands of young people in Uttar Pradesh now have direct and indirect job prospects thanks to the electric car production plant, which is a component of these initiatives.

All 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh are now receiving investments, according to Chief Minister Yogi. He highlighted advancements in connectivity by pointing out that Uttar Pradesh has the biggest rail network in the nation, metro services run in the greatest number of cities here, and the state is home to 55% of India’s expressways.

He also said that the state has two designated freight routes and that regional logistics terminals and transport hubs are being built. Uttar Pradesh has also seen the opening of the nation’s first inland canals and quick train system.From turmoil to recovery
“Uttar Pradesh is a state of celebration today, but prior to 2017, it struggled with unrest and an identity crisis,” the chief minister said.

According to him, the state has become a revenue surplus state and is no longer a “BIMARU” state. The trademarks of the new Uttar Pradesh are courageous entrepreneurship, ease of doing business, and faith in government, which are the result of clear purpose, decisive governance, and a defined vision.

Investor confidence and policy changes
With 34 sector-specific policies now in effect, CM Yogi said that policy paralysis has no place in the state. He said that they enable investors to take part in all facets of Uttar Pradesh’s development.

He cited Prime Minister Modi’s Vision 2047, saying that by that year, all Indians are dedicated to transforming the country into a Viksit and Atmanirbhar one. He said that the Ashok Leyland facility is a significant step in the direction of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India.

He said that Uttar Pradesh has become a popular location for both local and foreign investors due to its industry-first and investor-first philosophy.

“The state has received investment proposals worth ₹45 lakh crore over the last 8 to 9 years,” the chief minister said. Groundbreaking ceremonies for projects totaling ₹15 lakh crore have already taken place, and another ₹6 lakh crore project is set to begin construction next month. In Uttar Pradesh, projects totaling an extra ₹5 lakh crore are in the works and will soon be groundbreaking.
