Ghaziabad Traffic: The police have designated 14 areas as traffic congestion hotspots in order to strengthen the traffic system at crossroads and T-junctions in Ghaziabad that are suffering heavy traffic strain. There are now 118 traffic police officers at these places instead of the previous 68. The Bhopura U-turn has seen the most rise. There are currently thirteen police officers on duty here, as opposed to only five. In addition, the police will work with the appropriate agencies to plan and carry out the on-site actions needed to ensure efficient traffic flow. 14 areas with significant traffic pressure across the commissionerate’s three traffic zones have been selected as new traffic congestion spots, according to Additional Commissioner of Police Alok Priyadarshi. In addition to increasing the number of traffic police officers stationed at each of these places, efforts will be made to uncover the underlying causes of traffic pressure and congestion in order to find a long-term solution.
