According to a statement released by TVK chief coordinator K.A. Sengottaiyan, the police have given a number of security-related directives, all of which are being fully executed.

The party was making more security precautions than the police had requested, according to the senior politician, a former minister from Tamil Nadu. He said that the preparations would establish a standard for public gatherings in the state and that security had been increased to a certain degree.

About 1,500 police officers will be stationed at the event site and surrounding areas as part of the security strategy to guarantee the event runs well and uphold law and order. To control public and party cadre mobility, entry and exit points have been established at 14 different places.

According to the statement, as part of the surveillance measures, 60 CCTV cameras will be placed at key locations across the site. With 72 physicians, 120 nurses, and 24 ambulances on standby to handle any emergencies, a full medical setup has also been organized.

About 25,000 people are anticipated to attend the public gathering, in addition to about 10,000 party cadres. The announcement made it clear that no identification cards, permits, or QR codes would be required for entrance. Participants in the event are limited to Erode district residents and party leaders. At the location, basic services like drinking water and restrooms are being set up.

According to the statement, parking facilities have been built across an area of around 60 acres to control vehicle flow.

Sengottaiyan and party officials, including Bussy N. Anand, checked the venue’s preparations to make sure everything was set up.

In light of the security precautions and expected traffic constraints, the administration of a private school close to the meeting location has declared Thursday a vacation for pupils as a precaution.

The meticulous preparations, according to TVK leaders, demonstrated the significance of Vijay’s visit to Erode after the terrible Karur stampede on September 27 that claimed 41 lives and injured many others.
