People in cities like Wankidi, Kerameri, Jainur, Tiryani, and Asifabad are finding it difficult to handle the bitter cold, which is made worse by strong cold winds that are blowing across the area. Concerns over these illnesses’ effects on vulnerable groups, especially children and the elderly, have been voiced by medical experts.

The state has had below-average temperatures for a number of weeks, with the most recent weekend data showing some of the lowest of the season. This chilly trend is attributed by meteorologists to a drop in atmospheric humidity and cold winds coming from the west.

Temperatures between 10.4 and 10.9 degrees Celsius have also been recorded in a number of mandals in Adilabad, Rangareddy, and Vikarabad in addition to Hyderabad, the capital. Those who commute to work early in the morning or late at night find the chilly weather especially difficult.

With temperatures expected to drop by an additional three degrees Celsius below the present minimums, the weather service has issued a warning that the cold will become worse over the following two days. Officials are asking citizens to take measures, such wearing warm clothes, avoiding nighttime travel, and drinking hot liquids, in light of this cold period that is becoming worse.
