The actor, who was recently released from Tihar jail following the court’s order, said he would refrain from commenting on the ongoing legal proceedings and instead leave all related questions to his lawyer, Bhaskar Upadhyay. He clarified that the matter remains under consideration before the High Court and that any formal clarification on legal aspects would come through proper channels.

Legal Proceedings and Court Conditions

On Monday, the Delhi High Court granted an interim suspension of Yadav’s sentence until March 18. The order was issued by Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma, who directed the actor to submit a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh along with one surety of the same amount.

While considering the relief, the court noted that Rs 1.5 crore had already been deposited in the respondent’s bank account. The suspension of sentence is conditional upon compliance with the bond requirement. The case relates to a cheque bounce matter that had earlier led to his incarceration.

Actor Plans Press Conference

Speaking briefly after his release, Yadav said he intends to address the media in detail at a later date. He mentioned that due to limited time, he could not immediately hold a press conference but plans to speak openly about personal aspects of his journey soon.

He emphasized that his focus at the moment is to acknowledge the support he has received rather than engage in legal discussion. According to him, the responsibility of providing accurate information about the case rests with his legal representative.

Gratitude to Supporters Across Generations

Yadav expressed heartfelt thanks to audiences across the country and abroad who have supported him throughout his career. Reflecting on nearly three decades in Indian cinema, he said that the encouragement of viewers—from children to senior citizens—has shaped his professional life.

He described himself as someone nurtured by public affection, noting that the backing of fans has played a central role in his growth as an actor. He also acknowledged the role of social media in helping him stay connected with audiences in recent years, saying digital platforms have strengthened bonds with viewers both in India and overseas.

At the same time, he extended appreciation to members of the film fraternity and others who may not be active online but have remained connected to him through his work in cinema.

Three Decades in Indian Cinema

Yadav pointed out that 2027 will mark 30 years since he began his journey in the film industry. Born in Kudra in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur district and later establishing his career in Mumbai, he has built a long-standing presence in Hindi cinema.

Over the years, he has appeared in a wide range of films, earning recognition for his comic timing and character roles. His remarks suggested that he views his professional journey as ongoing, shaped by daily learning and continued effort.

“Time Will Bring Out the Truth”

While refraining from commenting on specifics of the case, Yadav said he believes that time ultimately clarifies all matters. He added that while he appreciates the sympathy extended to him, he values patience and due process more.

He concluded by reiterating his gratitude to those who have stood by him and expressed confidence that the legal process will take its course.
