  Politics –  Former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar took part in the sacred Bhasma Aarti at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Saturday, where he offered prayers for the country’s continued growth and collective well-being.

Dhankhar, who stepped down from office in July 2025 citing health reasons, joined devotees during the early morning ritual at the revered shrine. The visit drew attention from pilgrims and temple authorities, as the former constitutional functionary quietly participated in the ceremony before addressing reporters outside the temple premises.

Call for Social Harmony and Well-Being

Speaking briefly to the media, Dhankhar emphasized the importance of personal and social harmony. He urged citizens to move beyond feelings of ego, hostility and resentment, saying such values weaken the moral fabric of society.
