First State Visit After Taking Charge

Announcing the programme at a press briefing, Gujarat BJP chief Jagdish Vishwakarma said the visit holds organisational importance as it will be Nabin’s first engagement in the state after becoming national president. Senior party leaders and workers are expected to welcome him upon his arrival at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 12:30 pm on Friday.

Soon after, Nabin will head to Naranpura where he is slated to meet Members of Parliament and Members of the Legislative Assembly at the GSC Bank premises. The interaction is aimed at reviewing party activities and discussing coordination between elected representatives and the organisation.

Budget Discussion and Industry Interaction

In the evening, the BJP president will travel to Gandhinagar to participate in a Budget Meet at Infocity. According to party officials, the gathering will bring together industrialists, entrepreneurs, chartered accountants, doctors and representatives of various professional associations. The event is expected to focus on economic policies and stakeholder feedback in the context of the Union Budget.

Sabarmati Visit and Temple Prayers

The second day of the visit will begin early. On February 21, Nabin is scheduled to visit the Sabarmati Riverfront at 6:00 am, where he will interact with residents and take part in outreach activities. Later in the morning, he will offer prayers at the historic Bhadrakali Mata Temple in Ahmedabad, a site of cultural and religious significance in the city.

Meetings at State Headquarters

Following the temple visit, Nabin will proceed to Gandhinagar to address office-bearers and organisational leaders at the BJP state headquarters. The session will include discussions on strengthening grassroots coordination and expanding party outreach. A separate meeting with the party’s social media team has also been scheduled, reflecting the growing emphasis on digital communication strategies.

In the afternoon, he will attend the Young Voice Summit at GIFT City, where he is expected to engage with start-up founders and young entrepreneurs. GIFT City, India’s first International Financial Tech City, has emerged as a key business hub, and the interaction is aimed at understanding the concerns and aspirations of the younger business community.

Booth Workers’ Conference in Ahmedabad

Later that evening, Nabin will address a conference of booth-level workers at GMDC Hall in Ahmedabad. Party leaders describe booth workers as the backbone of the BJP’s electoral machinery, and the session is likely to focus on organisational discipline and grassroots mobilisation.

Participation in Mann Ki Baat Listening Session

On the final day of his tour, February 22, Nabin will attend a public listening session of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat, in the Khadia area of Ahmedabad at 10:45 am. The programme has been used by the Prime Minister to address national issues and share messages with citizens across the country.

After concluding his engagements, the BJP president is scheduled to return to Delhi later that afternoon.

Focus on Organisational Strength

Speaking about the visit, Vishwakarma reiterated that the BJP functions as a cadre-based organisation rooted in its ideological framework. He cited the political journeys of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah as examples of leaders who rose through the party ranks.

He also noted that at 45, Nabin is the youngest national president in the party’s history. According to state leaders, the Gujarat tour is designed to reinforce coordination within the organisation and expand engagement with different sections of society.
