The police have put in place a stringent policy for locals in an attempt to control the flow of people. During the celebration, only anyone with a valid local identity card will be permitted to enter the city. Key Changes to the Nainital Tourist Rules Prior to the Holiday Season: Nainital’s primary parking area will be Narayan Nagar. If the parking lot fills up, a shuttle service will be offered from there.

Every parking area will have personnel, enough lighting, and the necessary amenities.

There will be specific areas for shuttle services, such as roads, taxis, and KMU vehicles.

In addition to taxi drivers, hotel owners will prominently display their phone numbers on their cars.

From Gaddapu to Naya Gaon, crash barriers and reflectors will be erected to increase road safety.

Large flexi boards will be erected at diversion sites, damaged crash barriers will be fixed, and accident-prone areas will be identified.

Debris will be removed off the highways, and road construction from Bhawali to Kainchi Dham will be finished promptly.

– Access to the area will be limited to 11 PM to 6 AM, and heavy cargo trucks will not be permitted during the day.

Only local residents with a valid local identity card will be allowed entrance.

Traffic control at the Nainital Toll Plaza will be split evenly between December 22 and January 7.

Loudspeakers at the Daant Tirahe toll will deliver traffic-related directions.

Regular patrols in the region will be carried out by forest monitors.
