He said that the former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government’s policies were to blame.

Speaking during a news conference, Sirsa said that the present administration was working hard to reduce pollution.

“I apologize to Delhi residents for the increasing levels of air pollution. He said that no government can fully manage pollution levels in nine to ten months, but that “we are working consistently to reduce it day by day.”

Sirsa took aim at AAP leaders who protested the pollution problem at the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday, claiming they had not done enough to address the situation.

The air quality in the nation’s capital improved somewhat on Tuesday morning, with an AQI of 377 compared to 498 the previous day, despite the city being engulfed in haze and experiencing morning temperatures of 8.3 degrees Celsius, which made vision difficult.

The Delhi administration has announced a number of more stringent regulations that will take effect on Thursday, December 18, in response to the national capital’s increasing air pollution levels. According to Sirsa, cars won’t be permitted to fill at gas stations if they don’t have a current Pollution Under Control certificate. To prevent disruption, he advised locals to make sure their cars had a current PUC certificate by Wednesday.

Additionally, starting on Thursday, the government has prohibited vehicles transporting building supplies from entering Delhi. According to officials, anyone who violate the law will face severe consequences, including the seizure of their automobiles. Authorities will also take action against private automobiles that do not satisfy BS-6 emission norms when they enter Delhi from outside the city. Non-compliant vehicles will be seized.

According to Sirsa, the administration is working hard to solve the pollution problem and is dedicated to giving Delhi’s citizens clean air. He urged everyone to comply with the regulations, emphasizing that a team effort is necessary to enhance the capital’s air quality.
