Maharashtra: After a fire breaks out at a wedding in Thane, Maharashtra, more than 1,000 guests barely escape the banquet, video emerges

Maharashtra:  During pyrotechnics during a wedding ceremony on Thursday night, a huge fire started at the Blue Roof Club on Ghodbunder Road in Thane, Maharashtra.

When the fire started, more than 1,000 people were inside the feast. The event happened at around eleven o’clock at night. The fire started in the mandap decorations outside a cabin on the grounds of The Blue Roof Club, where a wedding celebration was taking place, according to Yasin Tadvi, head of the Thane Municipal Corporation’s emergency management unit.

Brigades were sent to the location by the fire department and disaster management team in a timely manner. The staff managed to remove all of the visitors from the location in a timely manner.

It took a lot of work to get the fire under control. There were no reported injuries.

Yasteen Tadvi told reporters about the event that the fire was contained within 30 minutes of the dousing attempts. “We are unable to pinpoint the cause of the fire, but it was enormous,” he said. The fire department sent fire brigades to the scene as soon as the Disaster Management team got a call. It took a lot of work to get the fire under control. No injuries or casualties have occurred. About an hour ago, the fire started, and within 30 minutes, we had it under control.
