Indian Railways News: Check stoppages for a special train that will run between Haridwar and Coimbatore in December
Indian Railways News: According to jagran.com, the railway administration would only run the Coimbatore-Haridwar-Coimbatore Express Special for a single journey on both sides for the convenience of passengers.

Train number 06043 will depart from Coimbatore on December 24 and train number 06044 will depart from Haridwar on December 30, according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Aditya Gupta.
On Wednesday, December 24 at 11:15 a.m., the train will depart from Coimbatore and arrive in Haridwar at 12:05 a.m. on December 26.
On Tuesday, December 30 at 10:30 p.m., train number 06044 will depart Haridwar for Coimbatore.

Roorkee, Ghaziabad, Nizamuddin, Mathura, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara, Udhna, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Bayantur Mookabika Road, Kundapura, Udupi, Mangalore, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur, and Palakkad stations are among the stops for this train, which departs from Haridwar.
In another unconnected development, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Wednesday that travelers would now have to pay more if they bring more baggage than the allowed free allocation limits.
The comment was made by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in response to questions from Member of Parliament Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, who wanted to know whether the Railways were thinking of imposing luggage rules on train passengers that were comparable to those at airports.
Train Luggage Regulations: Passengers in Second Class are permitted to bring 35 kg of free luggage and up to 70 kg of paid luggage. The free allowance for Sleeper Class travelers is 40 kilos, with an upper limit of 80 kg.
-The free allowance for passengers traveling in an AC three-tier or chair car is 40 kg, which is also the upper limit.
-AC and First Class Passengers on the second tier are allowed to bring up to 100 kilograms of baggage, with the first 50 kg being free. A/C First Class travelers are allowed to carry up to 150 kilograms for a fee and 70 kg for free.
