Haryana: A devotees’ tractor-trolley overturns in Kaithal, killing a woman and injuring around twenty-five others

Haryana:  On Sunday night, a tractor-trolley crashed on the Myouli–Naina route in the Kaithal district of Haryana, killing one lady and injuring around twenty-five others, including women and children. The trolley was making a curve when the hook broke, causing the collision.

After serving at an ashram, the devotees in the trolley were making their way back to their hamlet.

Accident News from Haryana: Woman Dead, Others Seriously Hurt

The catastrophe claimed the life of Poonam, a 32-year-old Mundari village native. Family members transported her little kid, who was also seriously hurt, to a private hospital in Kurukshetra. Due of her severe condition, Bala Devi, another wounded lady, was sent to Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College and Hospital in Karnal.

Additional wounded travelers were sent to Kaithal’s civic hospital and neighboring private hospitals. After receiving first assistance, a number of patients with minor injuries were released.

The Kaithal Accident’s Cause
Villagers said that two tractor-trolleys carrying between fifty and fifty-five women and children were traveling from Chuhad Majra village to Mundari via Pundri. One trolley arrived safely, but when its hook broke close to a bend on the Myouli–Naina road, the other overturned.

Earlier, the party had walked to the Guru Swami Brahmanand Ashram in Chuhad Majra, where they served for the day before returning in the evening.

Identification of Injured
In addition to a number of youngsters, those wounded include Bala Devi, Priyanka, Palak, Roshni, Bimla, Sneha, Pinky, Babli, Bansal, Rekha Devi, Palkit, Meena, Somi, and Rekha. The precise number of injuries is being confirmed, according to the police.

Leela Ram, a former MLA, went to the hospital to see how the wounded were doing. Preparations for a state-level event at the Guru Swami Brahmanand Ashram on December 23 are still ongoing, according to district officials. It is anticipated that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini would be present.
