Education – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again connect with students across the country as he appears in the second episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha on Monday, continuing his annual dialogue focused on making examinations less stressful and more meaningful.-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to interact with students in the latest edition of his widely followed programme, Pariksha Pe Charcha. The session will be broadcast live through his official YouTube channel, Doordarshan and other digital platforms, ensuring that students, parents and teachers from across India can participate in the conversation.
A Nationwide Dialogue on Exams
In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister invited viewers to watch the second episode, highlighting that it will feature participants from Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur and Guwahati. According to him, the perspectives and questions raised by these “Exam Warriors” make the discussion particularly engaging.
The initiative, organised by the Ministry of Education, is designed to reshape how students perceive examinations. Instead of viewing exams as a source of fear or anxiety, the programme encourages a constructive and balanced approach to academic challenges.
Practical Advice for Board Aspirants
During the upcoming interaction, the Prime Minister is expected to offer guidance on preparing for board examinations, managing time effectively and maintaining emotional well-being. The discussion will also address common concerns such as performance pressure, self-doubt and maintaining focus during crucial academic months.
The format allows students from different regions to share their experiences directly. By including voices from diverse backgrounds, the programme aims to reflect the realities faced by learners across urban and rural India alike.
Record Participation in 2026 Edition
This year’s edition has witnessed unprecedented enthusiasm. More than 4.5 crore registrations have been recorded from students, teachers and parents, marking the highest participation since the initiative began. The steady growth in registrations over the past few years highlights the programme’s expanding reach and relevance.
In 2023, participation stood at around 38.8 lakh, which rose sharply to 2.26 crore in 2024. The following year saw registrations climb to 3.53 crore, earning recognition in the Guinness World Records. The 2026 figures have now surpassed all previous benchmarks, underscoring sustained interest in the platform.
Highlights from the First Session
The first episode of this year’s series aired on February 6. During the session, the Prime Minister responded to a wide range of questions and engaged warmly with participants. In a brief video shared online, he was seen interacting energetically with students, posing questions and listening attentively to their responses.
He noted that many students had expressed a desire for sessions to be organised in different parts of the country. As a result, this year’s edition adopts a multi-location approach, allowing wider representation and broader engagement.
Growing Popularity Since 2018
Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a significant annual event during the exam season. Over the years, it has become a platform where young learners can raise concerns and receive reassurance directly from the Prime Minister.
Students from states including Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Assam have featured prominently in recent interactions, adding regional diversity to the dialogue. Their participation reflects how the programme has moved beyond metropolitan centres to reach classrooms nationwide.
The Prime Minister has consistently urged students to see examinations as milestones rather than obstacles. He has emphasised the importance of balanced study routines, regular physical activity and confidence-building habits.
As board and competitive examinations draw closer, the upcoming episode is expected to offer further insights and encouragement. Viewers across the country will have the opportunity to follow the discussion live and become part of a broader national conversation on promoting a healthy approach to education.
