Delhi Traffic Advisory: Due to the continuing construction of the Palam Railway Crossing, the Delhi Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory on Wednesday, November 26, alerting commuters to potential congestion in the surrounding districts and limiting traffic flow for almost three months. For the next ninety days, the shutdown, which went into force on November 3, will continue.

Delhi Traffic Alert: Points of Diversion
Traffic will be diverted via the Palam-Dwarka Flyover from the Dwarka side in the direction of Delhi Cantonment/Dhaula Kuan.
The Parshuram Chowk and Palam Flyover will be used to redirect traffic from Mangalpuri to Delhi Cantonment/Dhaula Kuan.
Alternative routes for vehicles arriving from the Palam Colony side are Parshuram Chowk, Manglapuri, Bhagat Chandra Hospital Chowk, and Palam Flyover Road.
Heavy trucks are no longer allowed to travel in the Palam region; instead, they must travel on Ring Road or NH-48 to reach their destinations, according to Delhi Traffic Police.
Advisory to the Public
Additionally, the following public warnings for commuters have been issued by the Delhi Traffic Police:
Commuters should choose other routes and stay as far away from the impacted route as possible.
To lessen traffic, commuters should choose public transportation instead of driving their own cars.
For a better traffic flow, drivers should abide by the traffic officials’ guidelines.
Traffic Advisory for Ghaziabad
The Delhi-Meerut Road near Muradnagar would stay blocked till the conclusion of the event commemorating Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s inauguration of the cave temple at Tarun Sagar Jain Tirtha, according to separate advice from the Ghaziabad traffic police. During this period, all vehicles on the Delhi-Meerut Road would be prohibited.
Alternative and Restricted Routes: 1. The Eastern Peripheral Expressway is recommended for vehicles going from Delhi to Meerut.
2. There will be limitations on vehicles using the Eastern Peripheral Expressway’s Kundli-Palwal segment.
3. Cars heading from Meerut to Delhi may leave at Bhojpur and use the highway to get to their final destinations.
4. These limitations remain in place from 8 a.m. till the Chief Minister’s program is over.
