Context

Ten Years of Random Increases Many Delhi private schools have raised tuition without providing a good reason within the last 10 years. Development fees, yearly fees, and maintenance fees are examples of non-tuition components that were often incorporated in these raises without prior notice or openness.

Regulatory Failure: According to education experts, prior restrictions were lax, ambiguous, and did not require enforcement, which allowed schools to take advantage of the system.
