Delhi Airport : According to Flightradar24 data, aviation operations across North India have been impacted by the heavy fog and ensuing poor visibility. Delhi Airport has had 36 flight delays and one cancellation at 8 AM.

The airlines have warned travelers of possible delays due to bad weather. According to Air India’s advice, flight schedules may be affected on Friday due to the meteorological department’s prediction of severe fog in Delhi and other areas of northern and eastern India.

The thick fog may have cascading consequences across the aviation network, they noted in their travel alert on Thursday night.

A similar warning was also sent by IndiGo early on Friday, stating that “Customers travelling in the early hours may experience delays or revised timings.”

In order to minimize customer annoyance, the airline further said that it is closely monitoring the weather and working with air traffic authorities.

According to SpiceJet’s advice, Delhi’s poor visibility may have an impact on flight operations, including departures and arrivals, and the flights that follow.

Delhi Airport issues a warning about possible delays
The Delhi airport reported on Friday that heavy fog is affecting flight schedules and that operations are now under CAT III as flight operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport suffer.

Drops in temperature across North India
