CM Stalin: Today will open development projects in Dindigul worth Rs 1,595 crore
CM Stalin: On Wednesday, one of the biggest one-day social outreach activities in the district will take place at the Dindigul Collectorate premises under the direction of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.

The Chief Minister will launch and lay the groundwork for development projects valued at Rs 1,595 crore at the event. These consist of 111 finished projects and 212 recently approved projects from several agencies that are meant to improve the district’s public services, infrastructure, and social welfare.
CM Stalin will provide government aid to some 30,000 recipients selected from different ministries as part of the welfare distribution campaign. Additionally, almost 1.02 lakh recipients will get land ownership papers, or pattas, which is anticipated to provide thousands of households with long-needed legal protection.
Additionally, the Chief Minister will open and tour exhibition spaces established by various government agencies to highlight development projects and welfare programs being carried out in the Dindigul district.
The State Transport Corporation’s introduction of new buses to improve public transportation in the area will be a major focus of the program.
It is anticipated that the inclusion of these buses would enhance connectivity, especially in rural and semi-urban regions.
For the ceremony, the Chief Minister would drive from Madurai to Dindigul. Rural Development Minister I. Periyasamy, Food Minister R. Chakrapani, District Collector Saravanan, and MLAs Gandhirajan and E.P. Senthil Kumar will all greet him warmly upon his arrival.
There will be a big welcome for the 38-kilometer section of the Dindigul-Madurai Road that runs from Pandiarajapuram to the Collectorate.
In order to welcome the Chief Minister, DMK executives, party volunteers, and members of the public are anticipated to line the road.
Receptions have been scheduled at six specific points along the route. The Chief Minister’s visit has been planned for a number of days. To ensure the high-profile government event runs well, a big and well-equipped stage has been built to hold the Chief Minister, ministers, and other dignitaries. Additionally, a large pavilion has been put up for recipients and the general public.
