CA Foundation: May 2026 is when the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Exams are scheduled

CA Foundation: The timetable for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams, which will take place in May 2026, has been made public by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). ICAI said that the test would only take place if enough applicants sign up.

The important dates and information are as follows:
Schedule of the CA Final Exam

Group 1: May 2, 4, and 6, 2026
May 8, 10, and 12, 2026 CA for Group 2 Schedule of Intermediate Exams

May 3, 5, and 7, 2026, Group 1
Group 2: CA Foundation Exam Schedule for May 9, 11, and 13, 2026

Exam dates and times for May 14, 16, 18, and 20, 2026

Foundation Papers 1 and 2: 2 to 5 p.m. (3 hours)
Foundation Papers 3 and 4: 2–4 p.m. (2 hours)
Final and Intermediate Papers 1–5: 2–5 p.m. (3 hours)
Final Paper 6: 4 hours from 2 to 6 p.m.
Details of the application

Applicants may register online at https://eservices.icai.org (Self Service Portal, or SSP) for Foundation, Intermediate, or Final Examinations. Additionally, applicants must pay the necessary examination cost.

Applications for the 2026 test will be accepted from March 3, 2026, until March 16, 2026. Online application forms must be submitted by March 19, 2026, with a late charge of Rs 600. The application forms will be available for revision between March 20 and 22, 2026.

For all exams, with the exception of Foundation papers 3 and 4, candidates will have a 15-minute advance reading period between 1.45 and 2 p.m.

Candidates for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Exams may choose to answer their questions in Hindi or English.
