US : “Russia must be stopped” Zelenskyy claims that only the united might of Europe and the can halt Putin’s “madness”
US: On Monday (local time), Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia is paying a high price “just to keep the war from ending” and that the nation has been losing at least 1,000 troops every day since December.

Referring to the current state of affairs as “madness,” Zelenskyy called on the US, Europe, and other international allies to work together to halt Russia, emphasizing that the fight underscores the world’s inability to defend itself against belligerent governments.Russian casualties now total at least 1,000 deaths per day, and this has been the situation since December. In this way, Russia is effectively funding to prolong the conflict. Zelenskyy said, “This is madness, and it can only be stopped by combined forces, the forces of Europe and the United States, the forces of all our partners.”This battle serves as a daily reminder that the world is powerless against insane people. We have to keep it safe. “We have to stop Russia,” he said.
The Ukrainian president thanked the nations and allies that have provided military assistance to Ukraine. “I want to thank everyone who supports Ukraine! “Glory to Ukraine! Thank you to everyone who supports our people, our defense, and our recovery!” he said.
Zelenskyy said earlier on Friday that Russia launched 242 drones, 13 ballistic missiles, and 22 cruise missiles during a huge nighttime aerial attack on Ukraine that resulted in at least four fatalities and several injuries.
The conflict has been raging in Eastern Europe for the last four years, and Zelenskyy stated in a post on X that the attacks severely damaged civilian infrastructure and energy facilities in Kyiv and numerous other parts of the nation during a time of extreme cold.
He attested to the fact that an ambulance crew member was among the four or more fatalities that occurred in the capital alone. The fallout from the big Russian attack is still being felt in Kyiv and the surrounding area. Every required service is up and running. Zelenskyy said that rehabilitation efforts are still underway in the Lviv area and other regions of the nation, adding that only twenty residential structures were destroyed.
Russia launched a second hit on a residential building just as first responders were delivering help after the first attack, according to the Ukrainian president, who also added that the bombings had wounded scores of people.
