Israel: 513 Palestinians living illegally in were arrested

Israel: 513 Palestinian Authority residents who were staying in Israel without permission were arrested by Border Police soldiers over the course of the last week as they searched different parts of the nation for illegal Palestinian residents and stopped infiltrators’ attempts to enter the country.

391 unlawful inhabitants and 34 suspicions of assisting illegal residents were arrested in the Jerusalem region and Jerusalem proper.

Twenty-five illegal immigrants were apprehended by Border Police in the Jerusalem region last weekend in a single event. The people had fled the separation barrier with the Palestinian territories and taken refuge inside a neighboring plant in the Atarot industrial zone.

Eleven accused of helping and eighteen illegal residents were arrested in the North and Coastal areas.

Four suspects of assisting and 57 illegal inhabitants were arrested in the Central sector, while 47 illegal residents and four suspects of aiding were arrested in the Southern sector.
