Sara Ali Khan: We’ve experienced a lot together, particularly with “abba” earlier this year
Sara Ali Khan: Speaking about the knife assault on her father, actor Saif Ali Khan, earlier in January, Sara Ali Khan said that the family went through a really trying time at the start of the year.

Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, “ALL ABOUT HER,” featured Sharmila and Sara. Soha questioned the grandma and granddaughter on the lessons they had gained from one another.
“Even during the most trying times, I have learned that dignity and grace are more important than anything else,” Sara added. As a family, I believe we have experienced a great deal, particularly with abba (Saif Ali Khan) earlier this year.
During an attempted robbery attempt in January, an intruder stabbed Saif at his Mumbai home with a knife. Saif suffered several stab wounds to his arm and back, necessitating surgery but eventually healing.
“But I think that’s something just keeping her together and not letting that go,” Sara said.
“I think badhi ammi is very dignified and that is something I really aspire to be able to inculcate in life,” she remarked, referring to the one aspect of her grandmother Sharmila Tagore that he wishes to adopt into her life.
Sara, the daughter of Saif and Amrita Singh, was last featured in the spiritual follow-up to Basu’s 2007 anthology film Life in a… Metro, Metro… In Dino. Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh are among the ensemble cast members of the movie.
The story explores issues of connection, loneliness, and emotional fragility in contemporary relationships by weaving together many contemporary love tales set in metropolitan India. The song “In Dino” from the earlier movie “Life in a…Metro” has a conceptual connection to the movie’s title.
She is ready to play the lead in “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” with Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
