Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar: support the Indian Premier League’s adventure, with the actor saying, “It should keep continuing season after season.”
Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar: two Bollywood celebrities, brought their star power to the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) season 3 high-profile auction.

Salman Khan, the owner of the Delhi squad, emphasized the importance of promoting events like as the ISPL during his remarks during the occasion.
“Go, ISPL. Season after season, it ought to continue. “I hope I don’t introduce the same kind of talent here that I introduced in the film industry,” he said at the ceremony.
The ‘Tiger 3’ actor also said in a humorous moment that his crew is ready for the tournament.
Akshay Kumar, an actor and co-owner of the Srinagar squad in the Indian Premier League, also spoke to the media and shared his thoughts on his experience playing in the league.
“Since the ISPL’s founding, I have been connected with it. I have seen its expansion. I thought it was a great concept when I was initially informed that we wanted to provide a chance for everyone who plays street cricket to visit the stadium. The actor said, “I hope this continues so the talented people get the chance to play cricket and earn money.”
Ajay Devgn, Sachin Tendulkar, Saif Ali Khan, and Hrithik Roshan were among the celebrities that attended the ISPL Auction.
Bollywood and cricket have long been linked, according to Tiiger of Kolkata co-owner Saif Ali Khan. While it’s great that many other sports are expanding, cricket and cinema have always had a unique connection in India since they are ingrained in our culture. It seemed natural when Tiigers of Kolkata came up to me. Because my father played cricket and my mother is from Kolkata, the city and the game have a personal connection.
From January 9 to February 6, 2026, the eight-team competition will be held in Surat’s Lalbhai Contractor Stadium.
