Paramvir Singh Cheema: The critically acclaimed military drama “Border 2” will include Paramvir Singh Cheema in the character of Subedar Nishaan Singh.
Chemma recently posted on social media about his father’s reaction when he informed him that he had been chosen for the sequel.
“When I told my father that I was shortlisted for Border 2, he said, ‘Eh Taan Krni He Hai’ (You have to do this),” he remarked. My whole family and friends were ecstatic for him. I’m doing this for my family and friends.
On his Instagram account, he said that he finds great significance in being a part of the ‘Border’ legacy: “Being a part of such an iconic film means so much to me,” he wrote. I never imagined that my path would lead me to the sets of Border, where I would sing the famous phrase “Sandese Aate hai” and perform with Sunny Deol and other amazing actors.”
“Thank you @anurag_singh_films for having faith in me,” Cheema said, thanking filmmaker Anurag Singh for believing in him. Working under your guidance was enjoyable, sir. As an actor, working with you was very simple. I discovered a big brother in you and we used to talk about a variety of subjects, including crafts, family, job, and life. I’m grateful to have been included in such an iconic movie.
Cheema spoke candidly about his experience working with Sunny Deol and the effects it had on him on a personal and professional level in an exclusive interview with IANS.
“Yes, that is true,” he told IANS. The thrilling aspect about Border 2 is that it’s an action movie, a full-fledged war movie. From beginning to end, there is a lot of action. Sunny Deol and I are both using the same screen. Because he is also Punjabi, I have always liked him. Sunny Deol’s residence is the first location we go to when we go from Punjab.
“Border 2,” which has the support of Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, will be released in theaters on January 23.
