Mouni Roy’s Badmaash Restaurant Offers Rs 100 Roti and Rs 400 Bhel: “I think we don’t.”
Mouni Roy’s restaurant, Badmaash, serves fusion Indian cuisine with a dash of delectable inventions and a true Bollywood atmosphere. Badmaash seems welcoming with its brilliantly illuminated bar and its abundance of plants and foliage on the walls, ceilings, and even the lighting. The costs of some of the most well-liked meals have finally been made public, according to an SCREEN report.
The majority of the menu items are priced between Rs 300 and Rs 800, according to the article. The cost of Gulab Jamun and Shahi Tukda is Rs 410 apiece. Avocado Bhel, which costs Rs 395, is another dish the restaurant serves. “We came up with Avocado Bhel because I love avocado and I love jhalmuri,” Mouni Roy told IndianRetailer.com.
Crispy corn, sev puri, masala papad, and masala peanuts all cost Rs 295. Prawn-based meals cost around Rs 795, whereas Kanda Bhajiya costs Rs 355 rupees. The breads cost Rs 105 for Tandoori Roti, Rs 115 for Naan, and Rs 145 for Amritsari Kulcha.
“I love Indian food,” Mouni stated while describing the idea for the business. I search everywhere for Indian eateries whenever I travel for business. I could relate to it. It was a fantastic chance to create something like Badmaash since, in my opinion, there aren’t many excellent Indian restaurants in our area, particularly in Bengaluru and Mumbai.”
“I always sat at a café with a croissant, coffee, and a book when I traveled. I started to dream of establishing my own café because of that tradition. Although it didn’t work out at the time, I seized the chance to run a restaurant because of my husband and his closest buddies at VRO,” she added.
“I am excited to open Badmaash, a restaurant that represents my love for progressive Indian cuisine,” Mouni Roy remarked in 2023, expressing her enthusiasm about her new endeavor. I can’t wait to take everyone on this gastronomic adventure with Badmaash’s menu, which is an incredible treat. One of my particular favorites is the Stir-fried Mushroom Milagu with Shimeji Crisps, which I am eager for everyone to taste. Another must-try is the Mounilicious drink, which surprises your taste buds with its flawless flavor combination and delicate touch of curry leaves.
Regarding the movie, Salakaar was the last time we saw Mouni. She has previously appeared in Brahmstra: Part One – Shiva (2022) by Ayan Mukerji. She played the antagonist Junoon in the film, which starred Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
