Bollywood – Daisy Shah Responds Firmly to Troll Over Iftaar Video
Bollywood – Bollywood actor Daisy Shah has addressed a social media controversy after a video showing her preparing food during an iftaar gathering began circulating online. The clip triggered debate after a social media user questioned the actress’s views by linking the video with her past comments about firecrackers. Shah responded directly, rejecting the comparison and urging people not to spread hostility under the guise of religious differences.

Social Media Post Triggers Online Debate
The controversy began when a user on the platform X, previously known as Twitter, shared a short video featuring Daisy Shah helping prepare food for an iftaar gathering. Alongside the clip, the user attempted to criticize the actress by suggesting a contradiction between her presence at an iftaar event and her earlier stance against firecrackers.
The post quickly gained attention and sparked discussion among users, with many questioning the intent behind drawing such a comparison. Some social media users also defended the actress, pointing out that attending cultural or religious gatherings does not conflict with personal views on environmental or social issues.
Daisy Shah Rejects Comparison
Daisy Shah responded publicly to the criticism through her official account on X. In her reply, she clarified that the comparison between firecrackers and cooking food during iftaar was baseless and misleading.
She emphasized that the two subjects are entirely unrelated and expressed disappointment over attempts to provoke religious tension through social media commentary. Shah also remarked that spreading negativity in the name of religion only deepens divisions and urged people to move away from such narratives.
Her response quickly attracted attention online, with several users supporting her stance and praising the calm but firm tone of her reply.
