Will the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max be available in India when Xiaomi unveils them?

With Xiaomi’s recent announcement of the Redmi K90 series in China, everyone is wondering whether India would follow suit. Many people enjoyed the K20 Pro for the same reason that the Redmi K series was popular because to its high-end specifications and affordable price. Now that the Redmi K series is joining the Pro Max category, it is unquestionably a high-end gadget.

Although the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max are made of different materials, they have the same identity and both versions come with the high-end Snapdragon flagship processor.

Price of the Redmi K90 Pro Max and K90

The basic 12GB + 256GB edition of the Redmi K90 Pro Max costs CNY 3,999 (about Rs 48,900), while the 16GB + 1TB model costs CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs 64,900). The 12GB + 256GB edition of the Redmi K90 costs CNY 2,599 (about Rs 31,900), while the most expensive 16GB + 1TB model costs CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 49,000).

Details of the Redmi K90 Pro Max and K90

As you are well aware, the Redmi K90 Pro Max has a large 6.9-inch OLED screen with a maximum brightness of 3,500 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and wet touch. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU powers the smartphone, which has 1TB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM. A Bose-tuned tri-speaker system with a woofer is included.

A 50MP wide main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens make up the phone’s triple camera system. The K90 Pro Max has a 7,560mAh battery that can be charged at 100W wired and 50W wireless rates.

The 6.59-inch OLED screen on the standard K90 model is smaller. With up to 1TB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM for performance, it uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU. The gadget also includes three cameras: an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP main wide with OIS. The K90 only supports 100W wired charging, despite having a 7,100mAh battery.

 

According to these specifications, the Redmi K90 series is as powerful as they come without reaching ridiculously high price points. Will India be the launch country? Although we don’t know, rumors indicate that in certain areas, this could end up becoming a Poco X-series phone.
