Sonu Rai and Ranjan Yadav have been recognized as the persons that were detained.

During police activity late Thursday night, both suspects were shot in the legs. They were taken right away to Sadar Hospital in Chhapra, where their condition is said to be stable.

Saran Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kumar Ashish confirmed the occurrence and said that, given the gravity of the situation, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was quickly established.

Leading physician Sajal Kumar was on his way home with his driver and assistant when five suspects tried to kidnap him on Wednesday night at about 10.20 p.m., according to the SSP.

“The doctor was able to leap out of the speeding car with composure. He called the cops right away,” Ashish said.

Police successfully identified the culprits after scanning CCTV video from the nearby locations in response to the allegation.

Police teams located the offenders in a yard close to BN Singh College after acting on information.

Weapons were found when the police arrived at the scene and tried to search the accused. The defendant then opened fire on the police squad in an attempt to escape. The cops used force in reaction and caught them, SSP Ashish continued.

The SSP said that operations are being conducted to apprehend the other suspects in the case.

“Anyone engaged in illegal activity will face severe consequences. In order to apprehend the remaining suspects, our teams are constantly conducting raids,” he said.

The accused disclosed that the abduction was motivated by professional rivalry. We’re trying to get in touch with the primary accused. Soon, all of the accused will be imprisoned. After the victim filed a written complaint, we have already filed a formal complaint, Ashish said.

Police have promised prompt action to avoid future crimes, but the incident has prompted questions about the safety of medical workers.
