Nitish Kumar: After seeing the Patna-Bihta elevated road requests that authorities move the project forward more quickly
Nitish Kumar: Development efforts have accelerated across the state after the Bihar Assembly elections. In light of this, plans are in motion to expedite the Patna–Bihta elevated road’s completion.

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the Danapur–Bihta elevated corridor on-site and assessed the project’s development.
He gave authorities instructions to make sure the building project is finished within the allotted time.
By September 2026, the Danapur–Bihta elevated route should be finished.
Nitish Kumar has instructed the building agency’s executives and representatives to expedite the work and quickly address any challenges.
In order to provide farmers and their families with prompt assistance, he also directed that the outstanding compensation for land acquisition be paid out immediately.
When the Patna–Bihta elevated road is finished, it should greatly reduce traffic, provide more seamless communication between Patna and Bihta, and make commuting safer and more pleasant.
The initiative is seen as a significant step in enhancing regional development and fortifying Bihar’s infrastructure.
Nitin Naveen, Minister of the Road Construction Department, emphasized that the department is the foundation of Bihar’s growth.
He said that the administration wants to accelerate the building of ring roads, motorways, and other significant infrastructure projects over the next five years.
Technology will be used to improve monitoring systems, and preserving construction quality will be strictly prioritized.
The minister said that the department would expedite efforts to link rural and urban regions, upgrade roads leading to tourist attractions, and connect industrial corridors with the rest of the state under the direction of the Chief Minister.
Road safety regulations will be strictly enforced, and digital tools will be used to track the quality of construction.
The state administration has reaffirmed its commitment to guaranteeing timely project completion while maintaining high standards via digital monitoring and strengthened safety rules in light of the heightened push for road and transportation projects.
