PhonePe : Payment Gateway introduces “Bolt” for Mastercard and Visa transactions

PhonePe: The introduction of “PhonePe PG Bolt” for Visa and Mastercard credit and debit card transactions was announced on Saturday by PhonePe Payment Gateway (PhonePe PG).

The solution uses device tokenization to provide merchant partners and consumers of the PhonePe platform a safe and effective in-app checkout experience.

Instead of having to tokenize their Mastercard and Visa cards with each merchant individually, customers may utilize their stored cards across any merchant associated with PhonePe PG thanks to this functionality, which lets users tokenize their cards once on the PhonePe app.An important milestone in our mission to make digital payments easier for millions of Indians is the introduction of the PhonePe PG Bolt function for Visa and Mastercard. Yuvraj Singh Shekhawat, Chief Business Officer of Merchant Business at PhonePe Limited, said, “We will allow users and merchants to transition from the conventional, laborious checkout process to a safe, one-click payment experience by utilizing device tokenization.”

Merchants may achieve much quicker checkout times and greater transaction success rates by using PhonePe’s native SDK. The removal of manual card input and the decrease in technological hand-offs between payment organizations are the main drivers of this efficiency.

The solution also offers merchants a customizable interface that seamlessly fits into their current app flow, minimizing transaction drop-offs and preserving brand consistency.
