Karnataka CM Post Row: Congress MLA Makes Big Claim About Karnataka CM After Tussle: “I’m 200% Sure DK Shivakumar Will Become Chief Minister Soon.”
Karnataka CM Post Row: Congress Ramanagara MLA Iqbal Hussain made a bold statement amid rumors of a potential Karnataka leadership change: he is 200% certain that his leader, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, would succeed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

“I constantly maintain my position that Shivakumar would soon be the chief minister. The decision will be made by the top leadership. Speaking to news agency PTI, he said, “As our leader (Shivakumar) stated, the transfer of power is a secret agreement among five to six party leaders, and those five to six people will decide.”
Legislators also asked the high command to provide opportunities to young people and new faces during the cabinet upheaval, according to another MLA, KM Uday, who claimed they had gotten word that this would be taken into consideration.
Regarding the call for Shivakumar to be appointed chief minister, he said that the party leadership will make the decision and that everyone will follow it.
While some MLAs claimed to have asked the high command to clear up any doubt over the chief minister problem as soon as possible, others claimed to have looked for chances for young people or newcomers during the projected cabinet reorganization.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Addresses the Problem
Conversely, Siddaramaiah said that he and Shivakumar will accept and follow the Congress high command’s decision.
“DK Shivakumar and I should abide by the decision of the party high command,” Siddaramaiah told reporters. DK Shivakumar and I should concur with the high command’s decision. The party high command’s decision will guide our actions.
He remembers discussing the cabinet change in a meeting with the high command five years before.
“A cabinet reorganization was mandated when the high command convened five months ago. I had informed them that after two and a half years, we would do it. We will now follow whatever orders are provided to us,” he said.
The “power-sharing agreement” of 2023 between Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar, which has been widely referenced in political circles, has stoked rising rumors of a shift in Karnataka’s chief ministerial visage.
Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, meanwhile, said on Sunday that the matter of a change in the chief minister’s visage would be decided by the high command.
Speaking to reporters outside his home here, Kharge remarked, “I have nothing to say.” “You’ve spent the last three days standing here all day. Regarding the developments taking place here, there is nothing to say. The top command will take care of anything that comes up. “It is not necessary to worry excessively about it,” he continued.
