Kolkata Metro: On Sunday, December 14, Kolkata Metro will provide special services to make it easier for students to go to their centers and guarantee seamless transit for applicants who want to take the State Eligibility Test. Additional trains would operate on the Green Line (Salt Lake Sector Five to Howrah Maidan) and Blue Line (Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram), according to the Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Limited’s officials.

Kolkata Metro Update: Updated Schedule and Services On Friday, December 12, the metro authorities announced that special metro services will be available for the 27th State Eligibility Test on Sunday, December 14.

From 7 to 8 a.m., metro services will run on the Blue and Green Lines. On Sundays, the metro services on these two lines typically begin at 9 a.m.

Between 7 and 8 a.m., services will be offered on both corridors at 20-minute intervals.

Services will operate at 15-minute intervals from 8 to 9 am.

The Blue Line’s first train from Dakshineswar will depart at 7 a.m., while the first service from Shahid Khudiram will begin at 7:30 a.m.

At 7 am, the Green Line’s inaugural service between Salt Lake Sector 5 and Howrah Maidan will begin.

On Sunday, regular operations will resume on both routes at 9 a.m.

In place of 130 services, the Blue Line will run 72 up and 72 down trains, for a total of 144 trains.

In place of 104 services, the Green Line will run 59 up and 59 down trains, for a total of 118 trains.

Traffic Advisory Issued by Kolkata Police
A comprehensive traffic advise has been issued by the Kolkata Police in advance of the famed football player Lionel Messi’s planned performance at the Yuba Bharati Stadium on Saturday. According to the authorities, the limitations will remain in effect until the well-known program is finished.

It said that all goods trucks using the EM Bypass would be subject to the diversion plan. In order to escape the jam, the traffic police also advised commuters to abide by the rules and arrange their routes appropriately. To guarantee efficient traffic flow, the government has also provided commuters with a list of alternate routes.
