Hernandez said that just seven remains had been found hours after the disaster, despite the private plane having eight passengers and two crew members registered. According to him, the jet struck the metal roof of a local company, causing a massive fire, after reportedly attempting to land on a soccer field. The collision is being looked into.

Ana Muniz, the mayor of San Mateo Atenco, told Milenio Television that some 130 people had to leave the region due to the fire.

On Monday night, a tiny aircraft crashed on a major US highway, causing a temporary traffic bottleneck. The plane struck a vehicle and caused severe traffic pandemonium as it crashed and landed on a popular Florida highway, according to the report. According to media sources, the pilot reported engine failure, forcing the single-engine Beechcraft 55 carrying two 27-year-olds to make an emergency landing on Interstate 95 near Orlando.

The 57-year-old driver suffered minor injuries when the plane crashed straight into a Toyota Camry that was stopped in traffic. While the pilot and the passenger luckily survived the fatal crash, she was transported to a hospital.
