J&K highway and road project review meetings are chaired by Nitin Gadkari

On Monday, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, presided over a high-level conference to assess the status of the road and highway projects in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for the big-ticket infrastructure projects in the UT,” according to an official release.

We are putting in a lot of effort to ensure that J&K has a bright and prosperous future. The significant drive for infrastructure has boosted the UT economy and produced new job prospects, according to L-G Sinha.

“Happy to have welcomed Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to the Raj Bhavan,” the L-G subsequently tweeted on X. They discussed a number of significant projects, like the Chenani-Sudhmahadev segment of NH-244, the Ring Road Jammu, the Udhampur Ramban Road’s four lanes, the Z-Morh Tunnel, and several other NHAI, NHIDCL, and SAMPARK projects.”
