Speaking to reporters on Thursday, a day after her marriage in Kerala, Bhonsle said the circulating claims about her age were completely false and misleading.
The 18-year-old recently married a Muslim man in a temple ceremony held in the coastal region of the state. The wedding has attracted attention not only because of Bhonsle’s rising public profile but also due to the allegations that surfaced soon after the ceremony.
